Mission 127:3 began with a simple conversation. A law enforcement officer named Jeffrey shared his heartfelt desire to comfort frightened children during some of the hardest moments of their lives. He wished every officer could reach into the trunk of their patrol vehicle and hand a scared child something that offered safety, comfort, and hope.
That conversation inspired Mission 127:3, named after Psalm 127:3: "Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him."
Walking with Warriors provides plush animals to law enforcement officers so they can offer compassion and reassurance to children experiencing crisis, trauma, or displacement.
The mission also recognizes the emotional and moral weight carried by those who serve. Small acts of compassion can help children feel safe while giving officers a meaningful way to express care and live out the calling to protect others.
Our hope is simple: that every frightened child encounters a moment of comfort, and every officer is equipped with another way to serve with compassion, dignity, and hope.
Your gift of $100 will help us provide enough plush toys for a police squad. A gift of $500 will help us provide for an entire shift. $2000 will provide for an entire District, which is often about 1/3 of a City or County.
